The ensemble had it’s beginnings during the Fall of 2005 soon after our first meet with co-founders Dan Sieber (vibraphonist) and Rich Barbera (violinist).     These two voices in conjunction with our trumpet and montuno pianist have become our signature sound.      Now...  add to this great mix a brilliant, seasoned group of percussionists and we have “magic in the house”.

Whether in 2-3 or 3-2, the Afro-clave is the heartbeat of the Latin Jazz feel, “the happiest grooving heartbeat” I have ever experienced playing!

I’d like to thank the group members for believing in this project from the “word go”, for giving their time, love and allowing others to hang their hats in the shop.
